Beyond the Podium Coaching

I’ve been thinking for a while about changing the name of my coaching business. “Behind” the podium implies that the outcome of performance is the goal, whereas what I really care about is how someone is in all areas of their life. So, I’ll start working on changing my branding to “Beyond” the Podium Coaching, which to me shifts the focus off of the outcome towards overall wellbeing.

This shift reflects where I want to take my business. I want to work with people in the world of high performance sport on preparing for and managing career transitions, as well as helping coaches and athletes get the most out of each other. I care deeply about creating positive cultures within organizations, and see so many opportunities to affect change for staff and athletes through this work.

So, this is just a short post to provide an update, and to explain the mismatched branding on the site for the time being!
